Soccer Game Preview: West Florence vs. Chapin

West Florence is 0-5 against Chapin since February of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Knights will head out to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Florence comes in on six and Chapin on 11.

West Florence is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let North Myrtle Beach get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Give West Florence's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Chapin made easy work of Berkeley on Friday and carried off an 8-0 win. Considering Chapin have won 12 contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Berkeley from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Lila Bowers led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

West Florence's record is now 15-7. As for Chapin, their record now sits at 16-3.

West Florence might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Chapin when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
