Basketball Recap: Hertford County Comes Up Short on the Road Against South Central + How To Watch

Hertford County had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the South Central Falcons 82-53. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 63-49 to the Falcons when the teams met back in January of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the defeat, Hertford County had strong showings from Josiah Powell, who posted 12 points, and Jalen Palmer, who earned ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Wiggins, who had seven points.

Hertford County has already played their next game, an 86-39 loss against Washington on the 2nd. As for South Central, they will head out to challenge Southwest Onslow at 6:30 p.m. on the 5th.
