Basketball Recap: Nicolet Takes a Loss

Nicolet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 61-42 fall against the Brown Deer Falcons. The Knights were probably out for revenge after losing 69-52 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Nicolet's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Brown Deer, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Nicolet will venture away from home to square off against Milwaukee Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Milwaukee Lutheran's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Brown Deer, they will challenge Saint Anthony/Milw Ronald Reagan/Golda Meir at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Anthony/Milw Ronald Reagan/Golda Meir will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Brown Deer surely won't give up without a fight.
