Softball Recap: Pulaski Red Raiders vs. D.C. Everest Evergreens
Pulaski couldn't beat D.C. Everest on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Red Raiders fell 14-9 to the Evergreens. The Red Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.
Pulaski got a big performance out of Kiera Altman, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was Altman's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Maroszek, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Pulaski's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for D.C. Everest, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Pulaski has already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Manitowoc Lincoln on the 4th. As for D.C. Everest, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-5 loss against Mosinee on the 4th.
