Basketball Recap: Ava Jones Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Snook

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rockdale, Caldwell was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 39-26 win over the Snook Bluejays. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-27 back in November.

Caldwell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Jones out in front who posted ten points. Ireland Morgan was another key player, putting up nine points.

Caldwell now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Snook, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caldwell will take on Belton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Snook, they will challenge Somerville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
