Soccer Game Preview: Crandall vs. Terrell

Crandall is 2-7 against Terrell since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Crandall Pirates will face off against the Terrell Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Crandall has five straight wins, Terrell has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Crandall will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Ennis, who they had gone 0-5 against in their six prior meetings. Crandall put the hurt on Ennis with a sharp 4-1 victory on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Pirates' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Tigers on Monday. Terrell took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Corsicana.

Crandall pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Terrell, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
