Soccer Recap: Lakeridge Takes a Loss

The matchup between Lakeridge and West Linn on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Pacers lost 7-2 to the Lions. Lakeridge have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Lakeridge's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for West Linn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-2 record this season.

Lakeridge and West Linn should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. The Pacers will square off against Clackamas on Saturday with a big rank advantage (7 vs. 59). Meanwhile, West Linn (ranked third) will meet Newberg (ranked 81st) on Saturday.
