Baseball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Panhandle Christian Home Educators Warriors, falling 12-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-4 loss on Tuesday.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Panhandle Christian Home Educators, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland Park will square off against Sanford-Fritch at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Panhandle Christian Home Educators, they will look to defend their home field on the 11th against Lubbock T at 4:30 p.m. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.4 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
