Football Game Preview: Tri County Area Vikings vs. Kent City Eagles + How To Watch

The Tri County Area Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Kent City Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Tri County Area is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Chippewa Hills: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Vikings blew the Warriors out of the water with a 39-12 final score. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Warriors are ranked 349th).

Meanwhile, Kent City put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Central Montcalm 46-14. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Tri County Area's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Kent City, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Tri County Area strolled past Kent City when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a score of 40-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
