Recap: Braden River Pirates vs. Parrish Community Bulls
The Parrish Community Bulls typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Braden River Pirates proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Bulls by a score of 49-42. Winning may never get old, but Braden River sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Braden River's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacobi Murray, who scored 12 points. Marcus Schade was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Braden River is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Parrish Community, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.
Braden River will take on Southeast at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Parrish Community, they will head out on the road to face off against Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saint Stephen's Episcopal will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 699th, while Parrish Community is ranked 281st).
