Football Recap: Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers vs. Tri County Northeast Wolfpack
Bancroft-Rosalie gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack with a sharp 42-22 win. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolfpack, too.
Braxton Bonneau had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 141 yards and five TDs.
Tri County Northeast's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thatcher Lamp, who threw for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 75 yards. Lamp also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making nine total tackles. A healthy portion of Lamp's aerial production (85 yards to be exact) went to Jaxon Hall, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bancroft-Rosalie will host Homer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri County Northeast, they will welcome Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
