Johnston is 8-2 against Urbandale since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Johnston Dragons will welcome the Urbandale J-Hawks at 7:45 p.m. Johnston will be strutting in after a win while Urbandale will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Johnston beat Dowling Catholic 40-36. The 40-point effort marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Urbandale scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 75-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valley. The J-Hawks haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Urbandale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Johnston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Johnston beat Urbandale 63-52 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Johnston repeat their success, or does Urbandale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
