Baseball Recap: Saegertown Has No Trouble Against Westminster Catawba Christian

Saegertown won the last time they faced Westminster Catawba Christian and things went their way on Friday too. Saegertown was the clear victor by a 14-2 margin over Westminster Catawba Christian.

Saegertown got a massive performance out of Wyatt Burchill, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs Burchill has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Leslie, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The win got Saegertown back to even at 1-1. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Saegertown Panthers duke it out with Cochranton Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, they will face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
