The Easton Warriors will square off against the Kent Island Buccaneers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Easton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Easton made easy work of Wicomico and carried off a 12-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly ten runs.

Alex Rhodes spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Easton got a massive performance out of Michael O'Connor, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits O'Connor has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Webb, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Easton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wicomico only posted an OBP of .231.

Meanwhile, Kent Island fell victim to Parkside and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Easton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.7 runs. As for Kent Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
