Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Dodson's Third in Last Four Outings

Dodson won the last time they faced Frazer, and Junior Stiffarm did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Dodson Coyotes' way against the Frazer Bearcubs on Saturday as the Dodson Coyotes made off with a 73-47 victory thanks in part to Stiffarm, who posted 30 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Dodson's points.

Mason Lone Bear was another key player, putting up 11 points. Those 11 points gave him a new career-high.

Dodson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Frazer, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Dodson will challenge Box Elder at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Frazer, they will face off against Circle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
