Baseball Recap: Brush Triumphs

Brush was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lyons Lions, sneaking past 5-3.

Landon Mesch was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was River Hodgeson, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.

Brush's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Lyons, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Brush didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against Weld Central on the 24th. As for Lyons, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-0 win against SkyView Academy on the 24th.
