Volleyball Game Preview: Carolina Forest Panthers vs. Dorman Cavaliers

Carolina Forest is 0-9 against Dorman since October of 2022 but things could change on Saturday. The Panthers will face off against the Cavaliers at 1:00 p.m. Carolina Forest will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Carolina Forest is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Summerville by a score of 3-1.

While Carolina Forest might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Summerville scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-27, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Dorman faced Boiling Springs in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.

Dorman's victory bumped their record up to 30-0. As for Carolina Forest, their win bumped their record up to 27-5-1.

Carolina Forest came up short against Dorman in their previous meeting on October 4th, falling 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
