Basketball Game Preview: Little Elm Lobos vs. Lewisville Farmers

The Little Elm Lobos will head out to challenge the Lewisville Farmers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Little Elm knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Lewisville likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Little Elm beat Marcus 58-48.

Meanwhile, Lewisville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 60-42 bruising from Guyer. While losing is never fun, the Farmers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Wildcats are ranked sixth).

Lewisville's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Little Elm, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

Little Elm beat Lewisville 63-50 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Little Elm since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
