Basketball Recap: Humphreys County Takes a Loss

Humphreys County and Mooreville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Humphreys County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mooreville Troopers, falling 70-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cowboys have suffered since January 22nd.

Humphreys County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Mooreville, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-7.

Humphreys County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mooreville, they will face off against Belmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Belmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Mooreville likes a good challenge.
