Everything went their way against the Lake View Chiefs/Maidens on Thursday as the Greenwood Rangers made off with a 16-5 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Rangers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Addison Arredondo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Greenwood got a massive performance out of Mae Savage, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
