Baseball Recap: Liberty Common Eagles vs. Eaton Reds
Liberty Common came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Eaton Reds, falling 16-1. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Reds when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Bryson Weibler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Liberty Common has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Eaton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.
