            Lower Cape May is 1-6 against Holy Spirit since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The Tigers will host the Spartans  at 4:00  p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Lower Cape May is headed into Monday's   contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game  on Friday. They took  a  7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Timber Creek Regional.
 Sean Kelleher put in work while hitting and pitching. He  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Kelleher was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  double.
 In other batting news,  Ashton Ray was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with one  home run. That  home run marked the first that  he has  launched this season.
Meanwhile, Holy Spirit has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.93  runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit  on Friday. They lost  14-3 to Lenape. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
  Jack Murray made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Holy Spirit's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Lower Cape May, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
