Basketball Recap: Hunt Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Hunt had won two straight games and Na'sir Hines did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Warriors took down the Berean Baptist Academy Bulldogs 73-55 thanks in part to Hines, who shot 86% from the field to rack up 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 66.7% three-point shooting accuracy.

Aarion Bryant was another key player, going 6-for-7 en route to 16 points and six boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Hunt's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Berean Baptist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Hunt will take on Fike in a tournament on Saturday. As for Berean Baptist Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Freedom Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
