            Baseball Recap: Ridgevue Warhawks vs. Boise Brave        
        
		
        
        
            The scorekeeper got an easy start  on Tuesday as neither Ridgevue nor Boise made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Warhawks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Brave  a   10-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Warhawks needed considering they were shut out in their previous   match.
 Preston Wade looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since April 1st.

 On the hitting side,  Landon Dance was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Chance Schreiber, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
Ridgevue is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-1 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Boise,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-14.
 Looking ahead, Ridgevue will host Capital  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Boise does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
