Farmersville managed to keep up with Gainesville until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Farmersville Farmers came up short against the Gainesville Leopards, falling 5-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Farmers in their meetings with the Leopards: they've now lost six in a row.

Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Gainesville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7-2 record this season.

Farmersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gainesville, they will challenge Paris at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
