Softball Recap: Delmarva Christian Comes Up Short

Delmarva Christian lost against Caesar Rodney back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Royals lost 8-2 to the Riders. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Delmarva Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Lowe, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Delmarva Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Caesar Rodney, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11.

Coming up, Delmarva Christian will face off against Dover at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Senators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.13 runs per game on average), something the Royals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Caesar Rodney, they will host Odessa at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
