Recap: Martin L Olson Lynx vs. White Mountain Wolves
The Martin L Olson Lynx won the last time they faced the White Mountain Wolves, and things went their way on Thursday too. Martin L Olson walked away with a 47-36 victory over White Mountain. Martin L Olson pushed the score to 43-22 by the end of the third, a deficit White Mountain cut but never quite recovered from.
White Mountain's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lillian Lausten-Katongan, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charla Adams, who scored nine points.
Martin L Olson's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for White Mountain, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Martin L Olson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. White Mountain will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Shaktoolik at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Shaktoolik is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
