Soccer Recap: Forest Lake Academy Takes a Loss

Forest Lake Academy lost against Foundation Academy back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Forest Lake Academy Panthers fell just short of the Foundation Academy Lions by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 389th, while the Lions are ranked 142nd).

Forest Lake Academy's goal came courtesy of Marcos Pereira, who's now up to 11 this season.

Forest Lake Academy dropped their record down to 3-6-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Foundation Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Forest Lake Academy will challenge Windermere Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foundation Academy, they will face off against Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
