Nolensville faced Briarcrest Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights won by a set and slipped past the Saints 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Natalie Bane paced Nolensville's offense, picking up nine kills. Bane got some help from Avery Ethridge and her 19 assists. Finally, Taylor Collins kept Nolensville's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Nolensville's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Briarcrest Christian, they moved to 22-7 with that loss, which also ended their 12-match winning streak.
