Football Recap: Ferndale Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Ferndale had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Lamphere Rams by a score of 17-14 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 27-18 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ferndale will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Troy at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Lamphere, they will face off against Port Huron Northern at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
