Baseball Recap: Summit Falls to Christian Educational Consortium in First Game of Season

Summit had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christian Educational Consortium Cougars on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The win was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for Christian Educational Consortium, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Summit will take on Middle Tennessee Monarchs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they will face off against LKY at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
