Picayune is a perfect 3-0 against Pascagoula since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Picayune Maroon Tide will host the Pascagoula Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Picayune's favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Pascagoula has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Picayune's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against St. Martin by a score of 4-0. The four-run effort marked the Maroon Tide's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Not much got past Colt Robertson, who gave up just five hits and racked up seven Ks to keep St. Martin off the board. What's more, Robertson gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Parker Helton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Cooper Moreaux, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Pascagoula didn't have quite enough to beat Warren Central on Friday and fell 4-2.

Picayune's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Pascagoula, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Everything went Picayune's way against Pascagoula in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Picayune made off with a 10-2 victory. Does Picayune have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pascagoula turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
