Glenwood's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Glenwood's win bumped their record up to 12-20. As for Denison-Schleswig, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12.

Looking ahead, Glenwood will take on Bishop Heelan Catholic on Monday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Denison-Schleswig does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
