Baseball Recap: North Valley Comes Up Short

North Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Junction City Tigers, falling 15-1. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2017.

North Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Junction City, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, North Valley will venture away from home to face off against Hidden Valley on Friday. As for Junction City, they will challenge La Pine at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
