Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Lincoln's offense. They lost 11-0 to Indianola on Monday. The Railsplitters haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Ames, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-14 record this season.

Everything went Ames' way against Lincoln when the teams last played back in June, as Ames made off with a 12-2 victory. Will the Little Cyclones repeat their success, or do the Railsplitters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
