Soccer Recap: Cook Comes Up Short

Cook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Savannah Arts Academy Panthers. While losing is never fun, Cook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 344th, while Savannah Arts Academy are ranked 111th).

Cook's goal came courtesy of Daniel Holland, who's now up to nine this season.

Cook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Savannah Arts Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Cook didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 victory against Irwin County on the 31st. As for Savannah Arts Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Appling County on the 27th.
