Volleyball Recap: Ardrey Kell Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ardrey Kell won the last time they faced Porter Ridge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on four straight.

Ardrey Kell not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Porter Ridge between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-17.

Ledell Milliken paced Ardrey Kell's offense, picking up ten kills. Milliken got some help from Jackson Blauer and his 22 assists. Blauer also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Luke Branscom, racking up two apiece.

Despite the loss, Porter Ridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mung Khai had seven digs and two aces.

Ardrey Kell's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Porter Ridge, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Ardrey Kell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Marvin Ridge on the 5th. As for Porter Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Sun Valley on the 5th.
