Volleyball Recap: Southern Valley Eagles vs. Centennial Broncos
After flying high against Wilcox-Hildreth last Thursday, Southern Valley came back down to earth. The Southern Valley Eagles fell 3-1 to the Centennial Broncos on Tuesday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 25-19, 25-12.
Adi Hunt paced Southern Valley's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hunt got some help from
Brecklyn Hammond and her 25 assists. Hunt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
Southern Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Centennial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-20.
Southern Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Centennial has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against St. Cecilia on the 30th.
