Softball Recap: Kamiak Knights vs. Snohomish Panthers

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Kamiak was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of the Snohomish Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 12-3.

Synclair Mawudeku put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Mawudeku wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Veighey, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
