West St. Mary waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Franklin Hornets, posting a 68-39 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolfpack also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

West St. Mary's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points per game. As for Franklin, they moved to 7-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

West St. Mary will head out on the road to square off against Houma Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Houma Christian's defense has only allowed 27.8 points per game this season, so West St. Mary's offense will have their work cut out for them. Franklin has already played their next game, a 51-8 win against Delcambre on the 4th.
