Baseball Game Preview: Southeast Alamance Stallions vs. Jordan-Matthews Jets

The Southeast Alamance Stallions will face off against the Jordan-Matthews Jets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither Southeast Alamance nor Jordan-Matthews posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Southeast Alamance made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Seaforth, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Stallions fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Stallions have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Asheboro, falling 11-0.

Jordan-Matthews' loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Southeast Alamance, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.

Southeast Alamance took their victory against Jordan-Matthews in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 8-1 score. Will the Stallions repeat their success, or do the Jets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
