Softball Recap: York Suburban Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for York Suburban's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Spring Grove Rockets on Monday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

York Suburban saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava King, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double was King's first of the season.

York Suburban's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Spring Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. York Suburban will venture away from home to square off against Fairfield at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spring Grove, they will head out to face off against Kennard-Dale at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
