Softball Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Georgetown was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Aynor Blue Jackets, falling 8-1. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Aynor, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Georgetown will square off against Andrews at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aynor, they will challenge Waccamaw at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
