Clovis North has gone 8-1 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Broncos are taking a road trip to face off against the Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Clovis North came up short against Clovis and fell 3-1. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Clovis scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Central and Buchanan faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Tuesday. The Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Bears.

Central couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Buchanan a tough time in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 31-29.

Clovis North's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season.

Everything went Clovis North's way against Central when the teams last played on April 1st, as Clovis North made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
