Soccer Game Preview: Princeton vs. North Posey

The Princeton Tigers will face off against the North Posey Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Princeton is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Princeton came up short against Tell City on Saturday, falling 5-2.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, North Posey was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Vincennes Rivet could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. North Posey had to tread lightly for part of the contest as Philipp Schneeweiss and Brayden Compton were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

North Posey's goal came courtesy of Ethan Ashby, who's now up to nine this season.

North Posey's draw makes their record 5-5-1 this season. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1.

Everything went Princeton's way against North Posey in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Princeton made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
