Softball Recap: Willard Crimson Flashes vs. Bucyrus Redmen

Willard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They fell just short of the Bucyrus Redmen by a score of 7-6.

Ava Deel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Natalie Slone made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played.
