There's no place like home for Danvers, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Beverly Panthers on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Panthers back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Danvers walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 15-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Gabriella Lindeman paced Danvers' offense, picking up ten kills. Lindeman got some help from Isabella DeSouza and her 26 assists. DeSouza also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hadley Brown, each putting up six.

Beverly's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sophia Balducci, who had 21 digs and two aces, and Lorelei MacKilligan, who had 11 digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Balducci is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game.

Danvers moved to 3-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Beverly, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Danvers has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Andover on the 9th. As for Beverly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Masconomet Regional on the 8th.
