Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Takes a Loss

After flying high against Comeaux last Friday, St. Thomas More came back down to earth. The St. Thomas More Cougars fell just short of the North Vermilion Patriots by a score of 39-36 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered since November 26, 2024.

St. Thomas More's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for North Vermilion, their victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rayne the next time they take the court. St. Thomas More will head out to face Rayne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while North Vermilion will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
