Baseball Recap: Seekonk Takes a Loss

Seekonk was the 7-6 winner over Attleboro when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Bombardiers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Jack Lasalle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

Seekonk now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Attleboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

While Seekonk had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
