Soccer Recap: McLane Gets the Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only McLane walked away with it. They won by a goal and slipped past the Liberty Patriots 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

They hit Liberty with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bernardo Meza, Nicolas Jauregui, and Guillermo Martinez.

McLane's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Liberty, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-3.

Coming up, McLane will head out on the road to challenge Clovis North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clovis North is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
